Original compositions by Rachel Flowers, the young musical prodigy, as well as collaborations with Grammy winners Dweezil Zappa, Arturo Sandoval, songs by her highly musical parents, and her exciting work with the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony.

“Music from the Soundtrack of Hearing is Believing” is an amazingly diverse collection of five original compositions by Rachel Flowers, the newly-discovered young prodigy. There are also five covers ranging from pop to classical (from “The Way It Is” to “Pictures At An Exhibition”). Also included are Rachel’s stirring collaborations with Grammy winners Dweezil Zappa (“Montana”), Arturo Sandoval (“Body & Soul”), two songs by her highly musical parents (“Finally” & “Serendipity”), and Rachel’s collaboration with fifty members of the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony on her original composition, “At the End of the Day”.

As Dweezil Zappa states in his powerful liner notes for this album, “Rachel’s ears are her eyes for the world. Her photographic memory and perfect pitch combine to make her an astonishing musical force. She truly has no boundaries to constrain her creativity. She can navigate freely through any style with a maturity beyond her years. …The band and I were thrilled to share our stage with Rachel and she is welcome to return any time! The sight of her running freely through the musical landscape, on that stage, will live long in my memory.”
